At Rockmybaby® Newcastle and central coast, we offer flexible, vetted childcare solutions tailored to your family’s needs. Whether you're booking a one-off babysitter or hiring a long-term nanny, our fees are transparent, competitive, and all-inclusive of GST.
Permanent Nanny Placement Fees
(Excluding GST)
One-off fee of 6% of the nanny’s gross annual income
Minimum placement fee: $1,500
This fee includes:

Temporary Nanny Assignments – Newcastle and Central Coast
(Excluding GST)
Daily Booking Fee: $45.00
Administrative Fee: From: $150.00
Hourly Rate: POA (depending on the nanny’s experience and booking type)

Babysitter Booking Rates - Newcastle & Central Coast
(All fees exclude GST)
Booking Types:
Standard Daily Booking Fee: $40.00
Service Fee (on all bookings) applies at checkout
Babysitter Hourly Rates:
Standard Day Rate: $40.00/hour
Christmas & New Year's Eve Rate: $80.00/hour
Babysitting – What to Expect:
A minimum of 3 hours is required for all bookings
The booking fee is non-refundable once your babysitter is confirmed
You’ll receive the babysitter’s profile by email after confirmation
The babysitter will contact you within 24 hours to introduce themselves and confirm details
If you cancel within 3 hours of the scheduled start time, a 3-hour cancellation charge will apply (paid to the babysitter)
Babysitters may request a fuel reimbursement if travel is involved
Parking fees and other applicable costs (e.g., tolls, travel surcharges) may be added when confirming hours after the booking
Maternity Nurse Services
Daily Agency Fee: $45.00
Admin fee (Upfront): $150.00
Maternity Nurse Rates: POA (based on experience, hours, and care type)

Rockmybaby® maternity nurses are highly experienced and self-employed professionals, offering:
Overnight care
24-hour support
Live-in or short-term options
Expert assistance with feeding, settling, and newborn routines
Bookings are available for as little as one night, up to 12 weeks.
